This will be my basic outline of my next rig i plan on building in the next month (parts are coming from different areas)


The Case: AREOCOOL X-PREDATOR CASE Devil red Edition.

The OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Edition. "Already Owned"

The CD ROM Drive: Lite-On IHES312 12X Blu-Ray DVD Combo Drive. *OR* LG CH12LS28 12x Black SATA Blu-Ray Combo Drive Retail Pack.

The MAIN Storage device: Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB 7200RPM. (x2)

The OS SSD/Boot-up SSD: Corsair Force Series GT 60GB SSD.

The Motherbaord: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard.

The CPU: AMD Piledriver FX-8350 AM3+ 4.0GHZ Octocore.

The CPU Cooling unit: Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler.

The RAM: G.Skill 16GB Kit, (4x4GB) DDR3 Ripjaws Z C11 2133MHz.

The GPU's: 3 x ASUS GeForce GTX 660 ti DirectCU II 2GB in 3way SLI.

The Power Supply: Antec TruePower Quattro 1200W TPQ-1200. (Might go up to a 1500 for durability)

Extra cooling fans for the case: BitFenix Spectre 140mm Black Tinted Orange LED Fan. (x6)

& if the air cooling isn't enough to keep the cards below 85 degrees celceus @ full load i will also get a water cooling system around $500.

The total value Excluding the OS and water blocks ~ $2740

What do you guys think?

Get GTX Titan(for gaming),i7-3770k(for gaming),z77

If you want to get higher 3DMark score,go for i7-3960x,GTX 690 x2..(or GTX 680 x4),Motherboard:X79

This computer For after effects,video editing...& livestreaming


Personally,i don't like AMD stuff..
i prefer Intel,but the price will higher..

Sounds like a good one. Im running a 660 right now i already feel like this is overkill! I'm a GFX editor and Video editor and mine works fine. But if you can afford the higher grade stuff. Go for it bro!

I would really like a few GTX 680's rather then the 660ti's but from the amount of CUDA cores AND the clock speeds it's running at, the 660ti is better money wise, but if i happen to win the lotto anytime soon 680 it might jut be!

i Peronally Prefer ATI because their new Series is going to be amazing.
Im Running an ATI RADEON HD 7670 2GB Which has Decent benchmarks
My other Desktop is Running a GTX 680 and im telling you they barely make a difference.

however 2.5K.... Dude shop around i could actually build a system like that for about 1.2K because i know where to look :P

Nice config.. you like CPU AMD ? you no prefer INTEL CORE ? I have a intel, and is very fast!
